Gilly's Salon is an oasis in the middle of the city. It is cozy, relaxing and the stylists do a wonderful job with many types of cuts for affordable prices. I do not color my hair but love that they use natural products. I am so excited that I found them years ago and always am so satisfied and grateful for the service I get there. Thanks Gilly and Ester for making it a great experience all around!

Esther is skilled and fabulous, been going for several years now and I've always gotten exactly what I had in mind; also she's sweet to me when I feel extra creative and get myself with kitchen scissors and need her to fix it. If you see a big blonde Jayne Mansfield coiffe bopping around the block with zero split endz, that's probably me and it's thanks to Esther and Gilly's!

I've been getting my hair cut by Esther at Gilly's for several years now. Esther is wonderful person and a skilled hairstylist. She does a great job listening to my hair wishes and making recommendation based on my actual hair type. I always leave her chair feeling cute. The salon is intimate and inviting. Bonus points for being within walking distance and having lots of local biz options to support the neighborhood. cafe, restaurants, record store and more.

Gilly’s is a vibe. With only two seats in the salon it always feels very laid back and comfortable. Esther always has the best tunes playing and has given me two of my all time favorite haircuts. Esther is so versatile in her art that both my partner and I get cuts by her and we have wildly different hair. Would highly recommend!

Esther takes time to learn the flow and intricacies of your individual hair and preferences. Then she sets about making it gorgeous while you feel pampered. She’s talented, calming, inclusive and wonderful.
